Hello Again!

One issue I see in most blogs and fashion pieces is a lack of advice and direction that works for EVERY  woman who celebrates her curvy shape, petite shape, tall shape, as well as what the fashion world labels the ideal shape( which I happen to disagree with). I love every shape, because each holds such a unique one of a kind beauty!

I have helped multiple clients because  fall is the hardest season for them; and they have a closet full of fall pieces they saw on a blog, pinterest, or saw in a must have trend article, and now never wear! This is where your new best friend comes in:) It’s me Terah Elizabeth, and I am here to break down a few rules to help you eliminate unnecessary purchases, and help you find your fall style!

  1. Your foundation for ANY season,  is understanding your shape.  I can help with that, or for an immediate solution, simply look in the mirror and determine the areas of your body you love to accentuate, and the areas that you prefer to have a bit of extra coverage! For example, I love my legs, I work my butt off for them, so I like pieces that have a lil leg if you know what I am sayin’:)) This is the basis for the silhouette you are creating in your attire. It shouldn’t be about what you see in a magazine… it’s about you, your confidence, your specific beauty… that’s what STYLE is!                                                         I love this quote by Giorgio Armani ” The goal I seek is to have people refine their style through my clothing without having them become victims of fashion”
  2. Pick TWO COLORS you want to update your fall look with…. you don’t have to do EVERY color trending for fall! If you have a gray midi dress, distressed boyfriend jeans you rocked all summer, you can carry them into fall…so base one of your color choices on what you already have in your wardrobe, and the other a new bold one!! A little bit of everything is NOT your friend when it comes to dressing!
  3. Keep Boots or  Booties and Jackets in neutrals. So if your fall aesthetic is full of grays and greens, or maroon and navy… then pick a gray or taupe boot (booties) and purse. You will amaze yourself how much you wear them! TE TIP: KEEP these pieces high end, and COMFORTABLE… the investment is worth it for the wear you will get out of them.
  4. Add Texture wherever you can… velvet, linen tees, corduroy, leather, distressed fabrics. This adds an instant uniqueness to your look and individuality.

Now on to the good stuff! Here are my fall must haves from stores that carry plus sizes, petites and tall sizes! My must haves are staples that you will find yourself wearing season after season…. not the trending must haves.  It is a wiser investment of your money, and it helps me keep happy clients:)))

  1. A Moto jacket in olive green

TE tip: Note the silhouette of this jacket, in the back and the seam at the waistline. Make selections like these for a more slimming and elongating affect. No silhouette adds bulk.
