Today, I am going to go over what every girl should have, in order to put her best face forward:) Also, these products are the top things I get asked about, because if you don’t get the right formulas, the opposite happens… people see your makeup instead of you! I love and celebrate natural beauty, if your routine takes 2 hours, honey we need to talk :)I am here to help simplify and do that flawlessly!
- Concealer… it’s a daily necessity! I have tried just about every concealer known to mankind, and this one is my absolute favorite for young, middle aged, and mature skin!
What you see here is magic…. there are two ends, one is concealer, and one is a serum that blurs imperfections, discoloration, and can be used as a highlighter? SO, you are getting alot of bang for your buck! I used the serum side, with a BB cream( later post… stay tuned) for my easiest daily makeup routine!! IT WILL NOT SETTLE in lines, and as far as the concealer end goes….it just make imperfections vanish… I can’t explain it! You may be like me, and take a little time to warm up to the serum end, and only use the concealer….. either way this is an amazing forumla!
2. Mascara … you need it, it makes you come alive:)
Top Volumizing, Lengthening and Defining all in ONE: ItCosmetics Superhero… its amazing, buildable, and doesn’t flake or smudge( unless you shower in it )
Top Waterproof: Urban Decay CannonBall… Go ahead dance in the rain, sweat up a storm, and this stuff is NOT GOING ANYWHERE! I have used this on my bridal clients FOR YEARS!
Top Volumizing: Kevyn Aucoin “the Volume” mascara…. (pictured here, not even through one coat:)
Added Bonus: I never apply ANY mascara without Dior’s mascara primer (Maximizer 3D triple volume… doesn’t that sound amazing right there) first… it’s a game changer, trust me… I have been upping my game for 2 years with this stuff.
Added Bonus 2:) I use Tarte Fiber Lash Extending Fibers after applying my Dior Primer, then seal with mascara, and apply another coat of mascara… not playing by the rules over here …. I know, but the false lash affect ( since I am anti fake lashes…. yes I said it) is SO worth it!! It’s like extensions for your lashes but not costing a couple hundred dollars!!! So, go ahead break the rules, you will love me for it!
3. Lipgloss or Stain….I am a matte girl, gloss is like gone in a minute for me… so I tend to lean towards stains or lipsticks.
Top Gloss:( that actually stays on) Smashbox Longwear Lip Lacquer, not sticky, actually stays for a gloss formula and the color pigment is amazing!
Top Plumping Gloss: This is toss up, BUXOM and V ictoria Secret’s formula! VS has one that adjusts to your natural lip tone, and it’s like the perfect just been kissed pink.
Top Stain: Benefit hands down, nothing compares. I am partial to corals, so I like cha cha tint best… but you can’t go wrong with any of them!!
Bonus Tip: YOU CAN GET ALL 3 for for 18.00 at Ulta… super great deal, mini sizes to pop in your pocket, and decide which is your fave before buying!! You will get their original formula, cha cha tint and posie tint… they also double as cheek colors… so your welcome:)
